Duromina, meaning "Make More Money," is an Ethiopian coffee cooperative in the Goma region focused on quality and fair earnings for its members. Initially supported by agronomists and advisers, Duromina now operates independently, led by a farmer-managed union that prioritizes quality and sustainable income. Grown at 1900-2100 meters, their coffee reflects both the high-altitude richness of the region and the cooperative's commitment to excellence and community reinvestment.
Duromina delights with layers of honeyed sweetness and vibrant fruit tones, featuring notes of peach, orange, and juicy stone fruits. The cup’s base is rich with brown sugar and red honey, accented by hints of floral aroma and warming spices. As it cools, flavors of apricot, fruit tea, and orange marmalade emerge, blending beautifully with an underlying sweetness and a subtle cocoa finish. Each sip is complex, with a satisfying balance of fruit and depth.
